General Details:- • Participants will participate in a live quiz, which will be conducted as a part of the two days long fest. • The preliminary round will be conducted on the first day which all the applicants will be competing in. • The final round will be held on the second day of the event. Only a selected number of teams will qualify for the second round, which will be a buzzer round. • The decision of the quiz masters will be final and binding. Any kind of questioning regarding the same will not be entertained. Note :- Detailed instructions for using the buzzer will be provided a few days prior to the event. Prerequisites: • It is necessary for the participants to be in the meeting till the event ends. Any school leaving the meeting just after their performance will get disqualified. • Only thirty seconds will be given for answering a question, both during the preliminary round and the buzzer round. • If in case the time limit is exceeded, then the question will be answered by the quizmasters themselves, and the team will not be scored. • Any loss caused by afore mentioned issues will have to be dealt with by the participants. Marking Scheme for the Quiz:- • 5 marks will be awarded to a team for every correct answer given by its members. • 1 mark will be deducted from the score of a team for every incorrect answer given by its members. Teams may choose to abstain from answering any particular question, in which case it will be passed on to the next team.
